The COVID-19 pandemic has had extraordinary effects on our world and personal lives, and Boston College is committed to meeting the emerging and immediate needs of our students as they adjust to the challenges ahead. Let’s come together as Eagles for Eagles.
Members of the Connell School of Nursing community, past and present, are working directly with patients in hospitals across the country as they face this global pandemic. Here at BC, current nursing students have transitioned to a remote learning environment. Seniors are tackling hours of clinical work through novel virtual simulations to be able to meet the competencies required to pass the boards, graduate, and quickly enter the healthcare system during this critical time. Your gift to the Connell School of Nursing allows the University to address these pressing needs.
Never has it been more important to come together in support of our students and faculty. In the midst of this crisis:
Connell School of Nursing learning labs have donated personal protective equipment to local hospitals and health care systems.
Undergraduate students continue to learn by working with colleagues at the local Veterans Affairs Office and providing respite care for families of Campus School students.
Many faculty are on the frontlines, using their expertise to provide care and enable others to provide care.
