Montserrat, an office in the Division of Mission and Ministry, supports students who have the highest level of financial need at BC. Many of these students are now facing significant financial hardship as a result of the pandemic. Some students have lost part-time jobs and now are struggling to pay their bills, while others are having difficulty affording fresh groceries. Your gift to Montserrat is critical and helps our staff immediately address these students' needs, including:
Helping cover gaps in rent, grocery, and medical prescription costs
Purchasing books for students to complete their remote classes this semester
Helping students access stable and reliable internet from home
Providing students in need with laptops and other critical technology to ensure their learning is not disrupted
